We don’t manage pain. We treat it.

Zedeeka Duke, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Zedeeka Duke started her medical career with a Licensed Vocational Nurse degree from Tomball College in 2004. Seven years later, in 2011, she obtained her associate degree in Nursing from Lee College. From there, she went on to pursue her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and graduated from Texas Tech in 2012. Finally, in 2017 she graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing from University of Texas at Arlington. She is certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is certified for Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and Pediatric Life Support.

Zedeeka worked at University General Hospital a surgical center in Perioperative and Post-operative care as a Registered Nurse, caring for adult patients undergoing a wide variety of surgical procedures, many of whom also suffered from chronic pain. She then started working at Houston Methodist in Pre-Op Vascular Center caring for Chronic renal patients who suffered from pain and other Co-morbidities.

Zedeeka began her career with Space City Pain Specialists in January 2020, where she was brought on to assist with follow up care for patients in Baytown and its surrounding communities. Her extensive experience as an LVN and later an RN working with recovering patients in the PACU from Pain Medicine procedures made her the obvious choice for the position. Her bright personality and willingness to help is an asset to our practice and we are happy to have her as a part of the Space City family.

In her free time, Zedeeka enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering at church, traveling, listening to live music and reading.
